THE ORDER OF TIME

Carlo Rovelli

I found this book beautiful. It’s a book about the physics of time, but you can apply the principles in this book towards your everyday thinking. Time is only relative. Everything works according to the order of time.

MAKE SOMETHING WONDERFUL

Compiled by family, friends and former colleagues of Steve Jobs

I enjoyed this book so much. I found out Steve’s job obsession for good design began at a calligraphy class he took in college. This book and Steve’s contribution to design and technology are wonderful and inspiring.

deep work

Compiled by family, friends and former colleagues of Steve Jobs

A deep dive into why working deeply is so important, and the huge compounded impact it can have in your life. Cal Newport has become one of my favourite researchers /writers since.

DESIGNING THE MIND

Ryan Bush

This book is good, the concept behind it is A WONDER. I’ve been extremely intentional in designing my life this year. I designed my year to be an expression and enabler of my creativity, joy, learning, and happiness. And I can say it has been one of the best years in my life so far.

Pageboy

Elliot Page

Something about this book made me pick it up at the famous bookstore Shakespeare and Co. I started reading it and couldn’t put it down. I spend the next days reading it at cozy little wine bars in Paris. Any book that makes me do that is a good book for me. Besides that, I’ve heard people make transphobic comments in plain 2023. I think this is a book that can raise awareness, empathy, and open up many eyes about gender, gender dysphoria, and sexism.

I wish you all a wonderful 2024. To more joy, creativity and designing our lives in ways that enables us to be the happiest versions of our selves.
