Leiry, a Visual Communication and Graphic Design graduate, has a passion for exploring and empowering the identity of communities.

Originally from Honduras, Central America, Leiry worked on developing documentaries and platforms to showcase the identity of her hometown, Tegucigalpa. For the past 8 years, she has been living in Iceland, specifically in the remote West Fjords, where she developed an interest in remote communities and their potential for growth through design and innovation.

Today, she resides in Ísafjörður, where she works as an identity systems designer and hosts the Creative Democracy podcast, promoting the value of creative thinking and innovation in remote communities.
